The Budtender/Patient Consultant, will need to have a basic understanding of strains, genetics, and relevant medical marijuana terminology to assist and/or make recommendations to our members of appropriate medicines available to them. We will provide training.
Greets all customers in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner, being upbeat, happy & friendly all with a smile!
Assist patients with choosing the right products according to their ailments.
Manages inbound phone inquiries and route calls accordingly.
Participates in ongoing education and professional development as needed
Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment
Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
Responsible for cannabis product knowledge and it’s effects
Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers
Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system
Store organization and cleanliness
Other duties as assigned by the Management Team
SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:
Experience in retail, hospitality, and sales setting is required.
Cash register experience with speed and accuracy.
Ability to handle a busy atmosphere.
Basic Mathematics, weights, and reasoning skills
Basic computer skills. i.e. Microsoft word, excel, internet browser
Edibles and concentrate knowledge
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Knowledge of Medical Marijuana, strains, concentrates, edibles and its effects.
Knowledge of Point of Sale software and cash management
Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
Fun attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location movement
Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
Previous dispensary experience NOT required but will be taken into consideration.
Experience working in a fast paced, high sales traffic environment
Must be 21 or over.
Must be available to work varied shifts including holidays, nights and weekends.
Must possess a passion to help people and stellar customer service skills
