Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist to assist in developing, implementing, and managing our operational foundation.This position reports to the Director of Operations and is primarily focused on the downstream supply chain – end of production line through customer delivery.Given the entrepreneurial nature of our business, your responsibilities will stretch into other segments of the end-to-end supply chain as the business requires.This position will be based in Burlington Vermont.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Key member of systems implementation team – ERP, MRP, WMS, CRM, eComm Platform
  • Create and maintain SOP documentation for all downstream operations
  • Manage operational relationships with strategic 3PL and transportation partners
  • Day-to-day operational management of order to cash cycle including order management, 3PL operations, in-house warehousing & distribution, and transportation management
  • Inventory management – flow, controls, and reporting
  • Ensure operational compliance with customer routing guides
  • EDI connectivity and transactional management with strategic retail partners
  • Partner with Customer Care team to develop and deploy best in class customer service strategies
  • Develop and monitor critical operational KPIs – service, working capital, transportation, chargebacks, etc.
  • Analyze and report KPI performance trends to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities in the downstream supply chain to reduce complexity, increase responsiveness, improve service, and reduce cost

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support business growth by stretching outside of primary responsibilities as required – i.e. Customer Service, Account Management, Procurement, Planning, Reporting, Audits, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve the organization through development and adoption of new strategies, processes, tools, and responsibilities
  • Commit to personal development and growth by actively engaging in individual development initiatives and applying developmental thinking within the context of the role

Qualifications:

  • Passion for working in a values-based, mission driven, high-growth startup
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, order management, and/or customer service (multiple disciplines is preferred)
  • Proven experience in developing and managing external partnerships and outsourced/hybrid models
  • Ability to distil corporate vision & supply chain strategy into actionable deliverables
  • Considerable industry knowledge of order management, customer requirements, warehousing operations, transportation, and inventory strategies
  • Extensive experience with ERP, WMS, and supporting systems to manage O2C process (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Experience with high-volume eCommerce direct, omni-channel, and traditional brick and mortar distribution
  • Customer facing experience a must – i.e. Account Management, Order Management, Customer Service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced analytics tools (SSRS & Cube Reports) – strong in Excel & Power Point
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytic skills with the ability to formulate and articulate valid conclusions through reporting
  • Ability to identify and define issues, lead root cause analysis, and develop and manage corrective action plans
  • Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage time while delivering results in a high-growth business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills bringing positivity & professionalism to all interactions
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment with agility – sleeves up pursing a shared goal, embracing ambiguity, daring to try
  • Experiencein consumer-packaged goods is a plus
  • APICS supply chain certification preferred

  • Open office environment
